Parents play such a vital role in their child’s speech and language development. In fact research shows that, up to the age of 7, most language learning occurs at home. Our Speech Language Therapist (SLT) delivers various parent workshops to share key messages about how they can support the development of their child’s SLC skills.
If there are concerns about a child’s speech and language, our SLT is available to provide advice to parents and often works closely with the Family Support Team, providing guidance on ways to support the child’s SLC skills in the home.
